Albert Grønbæk is set to join HSV on an initial loan from Stade Rennais.
Sky reports that the deal will carry an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has played only six times for Genoa after moving there on loan in the summer.
Rennes signed him from Bodø/Glimt for €15 million, but he struggled for minutes, and also had an unsuccessful loan at Southampton in the second half of last season.
Grønbæk believes the switch could aid his World Cup chances, with Denmark due to contest play-off qualifiers in March. HSV have suspended fellow winger Jean-Luc Dompé until further notice following a drink-driving incident.
