I find this Liverpool arrogance laughable on Alexander Isak

There is clearly a Liverpool belief that for sure Alexander Isak will be playing for the Anfield club next season.
That the Sweden international will be swapping the Tyne for the Mersey.
I find this arrogance from so many associated with Liverpool, to be laughable.
The idea that it is just a case of whenever Liverpool decide to push the button, that it will happen, just like that.
I find this with many Liverpool fans online, the Liverpool fan produced media, plus of course the Liverpool loving mainstream media!
Here is where we are at.
It is now fully two months since the summer 2025 transfer window opened.
It is 15 days now since Liverpool fed that sly line to their media friends that they would be willing to pay £120m for Alexander Isak.
Is is now only 17 days until Newcastle United kick off their Premier League season (only 16 days until Liverpool do so).
It is only 32 days now until the summer 2025 transfer window closes.
Yet Liverpool still haven’t made a single bid to buy Alexander Isak.
No formal approach to Newcastle United, saying we will give you £xxxm for your top goalscorer and best player.
I think I must be missing something here, when it comes to this arrogance and taking for granted that Liverpool will automatically be able to sign Alexander Isak whenever they decide they want to.
To me, this feels more and more like it has been simply a move by Liverpool to try and unsettle a Premier League rival. To unsettle Alexander Isak and then see what happens. More to do with setting in motion the chances of signing Alexander Isak next summer, not this one.
The position of so many associated with Liverpool, is a belief that we are all here waiting to help this supposed Isak deal happen as quickly and as smoothly as possible, whenever they choose to say so.
In these past 15 days Liverpool HAVE put offer, offers, in for an expensive new striker, negotiated, agreed a transfer, announced the signing, now he is away with them as part of their pre-season. That of course is Hugo Ekitike.
As for Alexander Isak, absolutely nothing has happened. Liverpool initiating nothing, no approach and certainly no offer.
The idea that we would get to a day or two before the season is kicking off and Liverpool announcing ‘Right, we are ready to buy Alexander Isak’, then Yasir Al-Rumayyan saying ‘Thank you very much, what time do you want me to deliver hm by piggyback to Anfield?’, is just beyond belief.
This has been a shambles from Liverpool and if they think the Newcastle United owners are going to bow down to them and do whatever they want, whenever they want AND on the cheap, well, it just isn’t happening.
I am now of the opinion that I would be amazed if Alexander Isak does leave Newcastle United this summer.
Indeed, I would be amazed if there will even be a proper offer made for him.
The time for that was surely a couple of months ago.
I think Eddie Howe, the Newcastle United owners and Alexander Isak will all come together and give an eventual United front, that things have been sorted, a new contract agreed and 2025/26 here we come.
