An exciting young forward is coming to join Liverpool's first-team.
One of the biggest changes Liverpool supporters could see under Andoni Iraola is a greater willingness to give young players meaningful opportunities at first-team level.
Throughout his coaching career, Iraola has built a reputation for developing talented youngsters and helping them fulfil their potential. At previous clubs, he has never been afraid to trust young players if he believes they have the quality and mentality to contribute. Rather than relying solely on experienced names, he has consistently shown a willingness to reward talent regardless of age.
That philosophy appears set to continue at Liverpool. In his first interview after taking charge, Iraola spoke positively about working with young players and helping them improve.
It was a clear indication that youth development will remain an important part of his plans moving forward.
The timing also makes sense. Liverpool's recruitment strategy under Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards has increasingly focused on signing young, high-potential talent from around the world. The club has invested heavily in players who are viewed as long-term projects, and Iraola's track record suggests he could be the ideal coach to help maximise those investments.
His arrival could create exciting opportunities for players currently progressing through Liverpool's academy and under-21 setup. Rather than seeing a pathway blocked by established stars, young prospects may feel they have a genuine chance of breaking into the first team if they perform well enough.
Of course, opportunities will still have to be earned. Iraola's demanding style requires high fitness levels, tactical discipline and relentless intensity both with and without the ball. But for young players willing to meet those standards, there could be more chances than ever before.
As Liverpool begin a new era, youth development looks set to become a bigger part of the club's identity once again, with Iraola playing a key role in shaping the next generation of first-team stars.
Pre-season is going to be exciting as a result.
With the absence of so many key stars away at the World Cup, its's going to give Iraola an opportunity to become acquinted with Liverpool's younger players.
He will have the opportunity to help integrate them and give them the fundamentals of his philosophy.
There will be plenty of young players raring to go, and ready to make their mark. Among them one of the players who will almost be guaranteed to join the first-team is Keyrol Figueroa.
He finished the season as the second top-goalscorer at U21 level last season, and he's regarded as one of the best young players in that age-group.
With Mo Salah departed. Federico Chiesa's future up in the air and Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo away at the World Cup, Liverpool are going to have so many attackers missing that Figueroa is bound to join the first-team for pre-season.
In the process, Iraola could discover an incredible forward who has a brilliant track record of scoring goals at youth level and who has become a senior international as well.
Figueroa made his debut for Honduras against Argentina on Saturday making history in the process by becoming the first Honduran to represent the Reds.
He didn't disappoint with his debut either. Playing the whole of the second half, Figueroa completed the most dribbles (2/3) on the pitch and won five out of seven duels causing Premier League defenders like Cristian Romero and Lisandro Martinez plenty of problems.
