Inter will be without both Yann Bisseck and Lautaro Martinez for Friday evening’s Serie A clash with Cagliari at San Siro, with neither player having recovered sufficiently from their respective injuries to be available for selection.
Bisseck has not yet returned to full group training following the muscle strain that has kept him out since the international break.
According to Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, the German defender is targeting a return somewhere between the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Como on Wednesday and the following weekend’s league fixture against Torino on Sunday.

Lautaro, meanwhile, is not even attempting to rush back for the Cagliari game, with the captain setting his sights directly on the Torino match on Sunday 26 April as his target return date.
The Argentine has been sidelined already this year after suffering a soleus muscle injury during the Champions League playoff against Bodo/Glimt in February and this latest setback means the Argentine will have missed a majority of the club’s 2026 fixtures.
With six league games remaining and a nine-point lead at the top of the table, Cristian Chivu has enough of a cushion to manage both players back to fitness carefully, though the sooner Lautaro is available, the better placed the Nerazzurri will be to see out what remains a significant if manageable lead.
