In a concerning development, journalist Miguel Angel Diaz of COPE reports that Real Madrid new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold could be ruled out of tonight’s match against PSG.
Los Blancos are set to take on the reigning European champions in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup in a couple of hours.
Xabi Alonso is already without one of his summer signings in Dean Huijsen, as he is suspended for the game after being sent off against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.
Now, according to the aforementioned report, Real Madrid could also end up being without their second summer signing Trent Alexander-Arnold against PSG.

As per the update, the England right-back suffered a setback in training on Tuesday and as a result, his involvement in tonight’s match at the MetLife Stadium is now under doubt.
Trent joined Real Madrid from Liverpool last month, with the Merengues shelling out €10 million to acquire him before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup rather than waiting until June 30 for his contract to expire.
The Englishman, who signed a six-year contract until 2031, has started all of Real Madrid’s five matches at the tournament in the USA thus far and has grown in stature with each passing game, registering two assists in the process.
If the Real Madrid #12 is indeed ruled out, Lucas Vazquez could step into the starting XI for Real Madrid as the right-sided wing-back.
