Borussia Dortmund kick off their 2025/26 Champions League campaign with a trip to Turin to face Juventus at the Juventus Stadium on Tuesday at 21:00 CET.

The Italian giants have made a bright start to the season, winning their first three Serie A matches, and most recently claimed a dramatic 4-3 victory over Inter.

Juventus fell behind 2-3 in the 76th minute, but fought back to secure victory with an injury-time winner from 19-year-old Vasilje Adzic, keeping the Old Lady second on points with league leaders Napoli.

Now, Juventus turn their attention to a Borussia Dortmund side also coming off a domestic victory.

After a disappointing 3-3 draw with St. Pauli in their opener, the Black and Yellows bounced back with a 3-0 win over Union Berlin, which was followed by a 2-0 victory against Heidenheim at the weekend.

Serhou Guirassy has been in excellent form, scoring in all four of Dortmund’s matches this season in all competitions, bringing his goal tally to five.

The two teams last met in a competitive match 10 years ago, but did face each other in a friendly over the summer Mats Hummels’ testimonial, which Juventus won 2-1. Much more will be at stake on Tuesday, however.

Team news and predicted lineups:

Juventus will be without Francisco Conceicao (muscle) and Fabio Miretti (thigh).

For Dortmund, Fabio Silva (groin), Niklas Süle (calf), Julien Duranville (shoulder), Emre Can (groin), and Nico Schlotterbeck (knee) are confirmed absentees.

Meanwhile, Julian Brandt and Aaron Anselmo are expected to return to the BVB squad after missing the 2-0 win over Heidenheim.

Guirassy picked up a knock on Saturday, but is fully expected to be fit for Dortmund's Champions League opener.
