Kaio César aims to be available for Corinthians’ Supercopa final with Flamengo | OneFootball

Kaio César has arrived at Corinthians ahead of Sunday’s final against Flamengo and wants to be available for selection. The forward joined up with the squad only days before the decider.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the 21-year-old has joined on loan from Al-Hilal until the end of the season, with an option to buy. A Coritiba graduate, he also had a spell with Vitória de Guimarães.

Speaking at the airport, he said he is keen to play the final and hopes to be ready in time to take part. He added that every player wants the chance to feature in a final.

For Flamengo, centre-back Vitão and goalkeeper Andrew are the new additions so far this season. The club are working to have Lucas Paquetá before the Supercopa, with only a few details left to settle with West Ham.

Flamengo and Corinthians meet for the Supercopa Rei at Mané Garrincha in Brasília on Sunday 01 from 16:00 Brasília time. It is Flamengo’s first shot at silverware this season.
