Corinthians will be without Kaio César and André Carrillo at Chapecoense on Thursday, both having felt fresh thigh discomfort.

The club said Kaio, who returned from a right hamstring issue against Santos on Sunday, now has discomfort in the same leg, while Carrillo has pain in his right adductor. Both will be re-evaluated and have no return date yet.

Both started in the draw with Santos, and Kaio set up Memphis Depay’s goal. The number 37 had been out since five February with a right thigh problem. Carrillo had been managed in training before the clássico but played at Vila Belmiro.

Defender Gabriel Paulista and forward Memphis Depay stayed in São Paulo for load management, and the pair should be available to face Flamengo on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Felipe Longo remains sidelined as he recovers from a right elbow ligament strain, and left-back Hugo Farias is treating a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee after surgery. Jesse Lingard is also out, with his name yet to appear on the CBF’s Boletim Informativo Diário as he awaits a work visa.

Corinthians head to Arena Condá looking to end a five-match winless run. Kick-off is 21:30 in the seventh round of the Brasileirão.
