Leeds United will be without striker Lukas Nmecha for Saturday’s meeting with Arsenal at Elland Road, while Jaka Bijol also misses out and Gabriel Gudmundsson remains a doubt.

As reported by yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Nmecha felt a hamstring problem during the warm-up at Everton on Monday and will sit out this weekend. Farke said he would have been tempted to use him, called the issue not major, and hopes he could return for the Nottingham game.

Farke added that Bijol will definitely miss Arsenal as he continues rehab from a hamstring issue. Leeds hope to have him back on the other side of the Nottingham game, with a small chance he features in that fixture.

Gudmundsson, sidelined by a groin problem for the 1-1 draw at Everton, has progressed better than expected after a second opinion. He has not yet trained with the team, but with two days still to go there is perhaps a little chance he makes this match.

Winger Dan James remains a long-term absentee, though he has now returned to training. He has been out with a hamstring tendon injury since the Manchester City game at the end of November, having earlier missed time with an ankle issue.
