Leeds United have suffered a fresh midfield setback, with Anton Stach struggling with a hip problem and likely to miss Nottingham Forest on Friday and the trip to Chelsea on Tuesday.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke indicated the German faces probably a 10 to 14-day absence.
There is better news elsewhere, with Jaka Bijol and James Justin back in team training. Bijol, out of the last three Premier League matches with a hamstring issue, will be monitored to see how he responds. Justin’s toe problem was a bruise and he has rejoined the group.
Lukas Nmecha is not yet in team training and is probably unlikely to feature on Friday, though he is not too far away. He missed the Arsenal defeat after feeling a hamstring niggle during the warm-up at Everton. Daniel James is making progress.
Bijol’s absence has recently seen Sebastiaan Bornauw and Justin start at centre-back. Forest visit Elland Road for a Friday night kick-off, then Leeds head to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
