Leeds United have been linked with a summer move for Sunderland forward Wilson Isidor, amid growing uncertainty over his future at the Stadium of Light.
According to Football Insider, the Elland Road club are monitoring his situation ahead of the window as they gear up for a Premier League return.
Isidor played a major part in Sunderland’s promotion and began the campaign brightly, but his minutes have dropped since Brian Brobbey became Régis Le Bris’ preferred central striker.
The 25-year-old has not started a Premier League match since early December and has one goal in his last 24 appearances. He has five Premier League goals overall this season.
Leeds want greater competition in attack, with Daniel Farke expected to bolster his forward options. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor are already in the picture, and Isidor is among the names under consideration.
Previous reports indicated Isidor could seek more regular football this summer. Everton and Nottingham Forest were credited with January interest, while Crystal Palace and Burnley were said to have explored late-window loans.
Sunderland resisted weakening the squad mid-season as they focused on safety, but that stance could shift if suitable offers arrive. Isidor is contracted until 2028 and was valued at about £25 million in January, though suggestions since have pointed to a lower figure being needed for a summer exit.
His situation forms part of a broader attacking review before Sunderland’s second Premier League season under Le Bris, with Brobbey’s rise reshaping the pecking order. Further forward additions are expected to be explored under sporting director Florent Ghisolfi.
