Leicester City attacking midfielder Jeremy Monga is reportedly now expected to sign for Arsenal.
Manager Mikel Arteta wants to sign the 16-year-old, and talks have been ongoing over a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Personal terms have already been agreed between both parties. A deal between is now set to be struck after the Foxes rejected the Gunners’ initial offer for the teenage sensation.
Monga is learning about life at Arsenal from Max Dowman, and he will be looking forward to hitting the ground running under Arteta.
The winger became the second-youngest player, behind Ethan Nwaneri, to play in the Premier League aged 15 years and 271 days back in April 2025.
He subsequently became the youngest goalscorer in the Championship history at 16 years and 37 days old, and will look to set more records in the future
Monga will not be a starter at Arsenal. However, he will get opportunities given the number of games the Gunners will be playing next term.
The England youth international is likely to be Arsenal’s first summer signing, and Arteta will hope to sign more players as he looks to challenge across all four competitions next term.
Plenty of players have been linked with the Gunners, and more names will emerge when the summer transfer window gets into full flow.
