Leicester City sign Ashleigh Neville from Tottenham Hotspur | OneFootball

Leicester City have completed the signing of full-back Ashleigh Neville from Tottenham Hotspur. The experienced defender has joined the Foxes on a one-and-a-half-year deal to keep her at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Neville initially joined Spurs from Coventry United having previously played for her local side Sporting Club Albion, the precursor to West Brom's women's team.

The 32-year-old played well over 150 games for Spurs in eight and half seasons as a part of the team who moved up from the second tier to the WSL and became established.

"This is a new challenge," Neville said on her arrival. "I want to help the team put as many points on the board as possible. I’m hoping that the experience I have both on and off the pitch can help.

"Now is the right time for a new challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing what this new chapter will bring."

Neville doesn't have to move too much just yet though with Leicester coincidentally facing Tottenham away twice in a row in the league and FA Cup.
