West Ham have signed France international Estelle Cascarino on loan from Serie A side Juventus until the end of the season.
The defender has made 49 appearances in two-and-a-half seasons for Le Bianconere, helping them to win the league title and Coppa Italia trophy last term.
The 28-year-old returns to the Barclays Women’s Super League following a loan spell at Manchester United in 2023.
“I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far in my career and I’m looking forward to this next chapter at West Ham, in the best league in the world,” Cascarino said.
Elsewhere, Tottenham have confirmed the sale of Ashleigh Neville to Leicester City.
Neville joined Spurs in July 2017 and went on to make 191 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Meanwhile, reigning Champions League winners Arsenal have strengthened with the signing of youngster Smilla Holmberg.
The right-back joins the Gunners from Hammarby in Sweden. “I think everyone, especially me, has grown up watching Arsenal play,” she said after completing her move. “It’s very special and I’m so proud to be here and can’t wait to get started.”
North London rivals Spurs have also signed a player from Hammarby, bringing in full-back Julie Blakstad following the expiration of her contract.
“This is a club with ambitions,” the 24-year-old said. “I know both the players and staff have high ambitions, which I really like. They focus on development, which is really important for me, and I’ve always said I want to play against the best players as often as I can. I can’t wait to meet everyone in the team.”
And Liverpool have completed the loan signing of goalkeeper Jennifer Falk from BK Hacken.
