Arne Slot will also be without Cody Gakpo for Champions League clash in Milan
Mohamed Salah will play no part for Liverpool in their Champions League showdown against Inter Milan this week.
Following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds at the weekend - a third game in a row in which Salah was named on the bench for - the Egypt international made the headlines with an eye-catching post-match interview.
Salah suggested he could leave the Premier League champions in January, said he has been made out as the scapegoat for the club’s struggles this season and shockingly revealed his relationship with head coach Arne Slot has broken down.
Salah’s absence is likely to mean Dominik Szoboszlai continues on the right flank with Florian Wirtz operating in his favoured No10 role.

There will, however, be an enforced change on the left as Cody Gakpo has also been left on Merseyside having missed training on Monday morning along with Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo.
After netting a brace at Elland Road, Hugo Ekitike is expected to keep his place in the team. Though, the Frenchman could be shifted out wide to accomodate Alexander Isak through the middle.
Slot may opt to restore Joe Gomez at right-back, replacing Conor Bradley who returned from injury against Leeds. On the opposite flank, Milos Kerkez may make way for Andy Robertson.
Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Ekitike; Isak.
