Luka Modrić responds to Kylian Mbappé’s first goal as Real Madrid no.10 | OneFootball

Former Real Madrid star Luka Modrić sent a message the way of Kylian Mbappé, following the latter’s latest goal for Los Blancos.

This of course comes after the Frenchman proved himself decisive in Real’s opening fixture of the new campaign.

After Xabi Alonso’s troops welcomed Osasuna to Spain’s capital on Tuesday evening, Mbappé notched the only goal of the game from the penalty spot during the 2nd-half.

Making his strike even more significant was the fact that it came as the former PSG frontman’s very first since inheriting the no.10 jersey at Real Madrid.

And as alluded to above, quick to pass his congratulations on to Mbappé in the game’s aftermath was Los Merengues’ previous 10.

Taking to the comments section of the 26-year-old’s latest post on Instagram, Luka Modrić – now of AC Milan – unveiled a simple message in the form of a trio of fire emojis:
