Malang Sarr ‘to sign’ for Neom SC after Lens exit | OneFootball

Malang Sarr is said to be close to joining Neom SC in Saudi Arabia after leaving Lens at the end of June.

The 27-year-old has attracted offers from Europe, but, according to Fabrizio Romano, he has given priority to Neom’s proposal.

Less than a month after confirming his free departure from Lens, where he revived his career across two seasons. The former Chelsea and Porto defender could head for a fourth country under head coach Christophe Galtier.

Neom finished eighth in the Saudi Pro League last season. Sarr would reunite with ex-Ligue 1 figures Marcin Bulka, Saïd Benrahma and former Lyon captain Alexandre Lacazette.

In central defence, the ex-Nice player, at the club from 2016 to 2020, could be paired with France Under-21 international Nathan Zézé, 21, who joined last summer despite strong European interest.
