Manchester United travel to east London with rhythm, resilience and a sense of opportunity. The trip to West Ham United arrives at a moment when confidence is building and continuity matters. For Manchester United, five straight Premier League wins would underline a revival grounded in clarity and calm selection.
That mood has been strengthened by the fitness of Bryan Mbeumo. The forward was seen limping after the 2-0 victory over Tottenham, but concerns have been eased and the £70 million signing is set to lead the line again. With form on their side, there is little appetite to tinker.

Michael Carrick has good reason to consider naming an unchanged side at the London Stadium. United’s structure has looked settled, their balance improved, and the defensive unit delivered a clean sheet against Spurs. Stability, in this context, feels like strength.
In midfield, Bruno Fernandes is expected to continue in the No10 role, operating ahead of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo. That axis has provided both control and incision, allowing United to dictate tempo rather than chase it.

There are absentees, but no fresh setbacks. Mason Mount is edging closer to a return, though this fixture comes too soon. Carrick offered clarity on Monday: “Mason will be probably not for Tuesday, probably after, but definitely going into the Everton game, he’ll be back.”

Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined, as does Patrick Dorgu, but the manager remains encouraged. “Matta, we’ll see how he develops. The Everton game feels like a long time away at the moment, so we’ll see how he develops, but he’s positive, he’s moving in the right direction, but Mason’s a little bit closer than him.”

Up front, Matheus Cunha is expected to keep his place on the left, while Amad Diallo supports Mbeumo. Benjamin Sesko offers an alternative if rotation is required. At right back, Diogo Dalot is set to retain his spot ahead of Noussair Mazraoui, reward for defensive solidity.
Predicted Manchester United XI: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Cunha; Mbeumo
Injured: Dorgu, Mount, De Ligt
