Marshall Munetsi returns to Ligue 1 | OneFootball

Marshall Munetsi is set to spend the rest of the 2025/26 season on loan at Paris FC, returning to Ligue 1 just a year after leaving Stade de Reims.

The 29-year-old Zimbabwe international has struggled for playing time at Wolverhampton under Rob Edwards, featuring in just 15 matches this season and scoring twice, including in the Premier League against Burnley and a Carabao Cup win over Everton.

A recent calf injury also sidelined him for six weeks and prevented him from captaining his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Paris FC, newly promoted and seeking a strong, box-to-box midfielder, have secured Munetsi ahead of a crucial clash with FC Nantes this Sunday as they battle to avoid relegation.

The move gives the midfielder an opportunity to regain form and consistent minutes on the pitch in a familiar environment.
