Matheus Bidu moves joint second in Corinthians’ 2026 assist chart | OneFootball

Matheus Bidu’s assist for Yuri Alberto in the 1-1 draw with Flamengo, in round eight of the Campeonato Brasileiro, moved him joint second in Corinthians’ 2026 assist chart.

According to Meu Timao, he now trails only Rodrigo Garro.

The equaliser arrived in the 19th minute at Neo Química Arena, with Corinthians already behind. Memphis Depay lifted a pass to Bidu on the left. The full-back controlled then squared low for Yuri Alberto to beat Rossi and level in Itaquera.

It was Bidu’s second assist of 2026, level with Kaio César, with Garro leading on three. On one apiece are Gustavo Henrique, Vitinho, Ryan, Memphis Depay, Yuri Alberto, Dieguinho, Matheuzinho and Pedro Raul.

Since joining in January 2023, Bidu has 10 assists and nine goals in 137 appearances, 110 of them starts. That spell brings 63 wins, 33 draws and 41 defeats.

He is the first outfield player in the squad to pass 1,000 minutes this season, highlighting his role under Dorival Júnior. His run in the side has also been aided by the absence of Hugo Farias, who is recovering from right knee surgery.

Corinthians now pause for the FIFA international break before visiting Fluminense at the Maracanã on 1 April, in round nine.
