Mattéo Guendouzi set to join Fenerbahçe after €30m deal agreed | OneFootball

Mattéo Guendouzi (26) is set to make the move to Turkey after Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with his club, Lazio, according to a report from L’Équipe. 

Guendouzi has been attracting interest since the start of the window. There had been links with a return to the Premier League, and a reunion, even, with Régis Le Bris at Sunderland. However, the former Arsenal midfielder is now expected to move to the Turkish top flight. 

The France international, still a regular in Didier Deschamps’ squads, is on the verge of joining Fenerbahçe. It comes after the Turkish club reached an agreement in principle with Lazio. The total value of the transfer is thought to be around €30m. 

An agreement with the player on personal terms has also been partially found, L’Équipe reports and barring a last-minute U-turn, Guendouzi is all set to join Fenerbahçe on a long-term contract in the coming hours.
