Meet right-back Pedro Milans, close to joining Corinthians | OneFootball

The Corinthians are close to confirming the signing of right-back Pedro Milans. The Uruguayan did not have his contract renewed with Peñarol and is free in the market.

The player would arrive to challenge Matheuzinho, the undisputed starter in the position. The club's management prioritized strengthening the right-back position, considering that last year, coach Dorival Júnior had to resort to improvisations in the sector.

Meet the new signing

Pedro Milans began his professional career with Juventud, in Uruguay. He played 17 matches for the team and was transferred to Peñarol in 2022. Since then, he has played 111 games in the aurinegra jersey, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

In the last season, the wing-back played 42 times, 36 as a starter. He also has experience with the Uruguayan youth national team, but has never been called up to the senior team. The 23-year-old player has won two titles with Peñarol: the Uruguayan Championship (2024) and the Uruguay Cup (2025).
