Michaël Cuisance ‘to sign’ for RC Lens on four-year deal and return to Ligue 1 | OneFootball

Michaël Cuisance, 26, is set to join RC Lens on a four-year contract, with the signing planned for Friday.

Sky Sport’s German edition reports the move, which would take the midfielder back to Ligue 1 four years after he left.

Lens, winners of the 2026 Coupe de France and qualified for next season’s Champions League, have an agreement with Hertha Berlin, where Cuisance has played since 2024.

Hertha, in the German second tier, have him under contract until 2029. The fee is estimated at 3.5 million, with a sell-on clause.

He departed Ligue 1 in 2021 after a season on loan at Marseille from Bayern Munich. Marseille did not take up the option to buy.

He then joined Venezia in 2021, and had loans at Sampdoria in 2023 and VfL Osnabrück in 2023-24. For Hertha he has made 69 league appearances in two seasons, scoring 9 and providing 11 assists.
