Milan keen on Lecce youngster Tiago Gabriel | OneFootball

Serie A side Lecce are no strangers to selling on talented youngsters and the next in line could be Tiago Gabriel. Milan are keeping a close eye on the centre-back.

This is the Portuguese defender’s first full season in Serie A. He joined Lecce in January 2025 but was only settling in last season.

He scored for Lecce against Fiorentina on Monday and he is now on Milan’s radar. This comes from Gianluca Di Marzio, who hails the 21-year-old and how he has quickly impressed in Serie A.

Lecce paid only €1m for him and they now value him at around €30m. They are poised to make a capital gain in the summer, with Milan only one of the clubs who are interested. No negotiations have taken place for Gabriel yet but things can change in the summer.

This is also largely due to Lecce’s reputation, as they sold Nikola Krstovic to Atalanta in the summer, selling Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United in January 2025.
