Mohamed Salah: Possible summer exit if Slot stays at Liverpool
The future of Mohamed Salah at Liverpool is more uncertain than ever. Following his criticism of the club and Arne Slot back in December, rumors of a summer exit are multiplying.
According to Danny Murphy, the Egyptian striker might only stay on if a new manager takes charge and wants to build the team around him. "With another manager, he could find fresh motivation and a new spark," Murphy explains.
This season, Salah—who has been with Liverpool since 2017—has struggled to rediscover his usual form. Now in his thirties, he has at times found himself on the bench and has yet to reach double digits in goals, which could mark his lowest tally since arriving at Anfield.

The Liverpool board continues to back Slot despite the team’s dip in form and the tough challenges this season, including the loss suffered by Diogo Jota. But with Saudi clubs circling around global stars, a Salah departure seems increasingly likely. Murphy sums it up:
It would be surprising to see him still at Liverpool at the start of next season.
