Monaco in the market for a new goalkeeper | OneFootball

AS Monaco will be in the market for a new goalkeeper, the club’s CEO Thiago Scuro has confirmed, with neither Philipp Köhn nor Radoslaw Majecki providing the necessary assurances last season.

Adi Hütter was forced to flip-flop in goal with neither Köhn nor Majecki consistently performing over the course of the campaign. “Clearly, it was one of our problems last season,” admitted Scuro in an interview attended by Get French Football News.

He continued, “There were moments where they were important. Against Lyon, Köhn was incredible… Majecki was one of the best goalkeepers in Europe at the end of last season. They work hard and they are good goalkeepers and good people.”

Then comes the ‘but’. “But we will look to sign a goalkeeper and it will be up to them to fight for their place. We will chase a new goalkeeper,” said Scuro. For one of Köhn or Majecki, their time at Monaco looks to be coming to an end.
