São Paulo’s public prosecutor has set a 48-hour deadline for Corinthians to hand over the full Ernst & Young audit and other papers, according to Meu Timao.
The initial 10-day window lapsed, and the club must now submit its accounts and EY’s complete report. He also requested minutes from Monday, 23 March, when the provisional removal of council president Romeu Tuma Jr. was approved.
The move may have breached the Statute and Internal Rules. Although 115 councillors backed it, the session was ruled irregular by the Justice Commission and senior figures, including Tuma, citing flaws in president Osmar Stabile’s notice.
They say the council remains under current leadership unless a court rules otherwise, citing Article 82, II, b, on the president’s sole power to call meetings.
The office also sought EY’s audit with all annexes, saying it could link to criminal probes into spending under ex-presidents Andrés Sanchez, Duilio Monteiro Alves and Augusto Melo. It noted Corinthians is a victim, so the full report should be sent.
The club received EY’s report in October 2025 under Osmar Stabile but has not published it, citing confidentiality. EY’s 2024 work reviewed major contracts and a VaideBet probe later halted in June, with about R$ 122 thousand billed and the case now in court.
Conserino also asked for minutes from a 25 November 2024 Orientation Council meeting that cited the EY report, giving five days to deliver them.
