Nantes will be without leading scorer Matthis Abline and defender Kelvin Amian when they host Le Havre in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The 17th-placed Canaris face the Normandy side at 17:15 in matchday 23. According to L'Équipe, Abline is suspended for yellow-card accumulation and Amian is unavailable due to an administrative issue.
Head coach Ahmed Kantari said there were no major injury concerns and that he expects his players to be in good shape. Winter signing Frédéric Guilbert returns to the squad after a run-out with the reserves in N3 last weekend.
With plenty potentially at stake for him, Kantari maintained that morale has not dipped, citing enthusiasm and commitment in training and saying doubts have not set in. He stressed they are searching for solutions while accepting the reality of the table, but insisted they do not feel written off.
He pointed out that the play-off spot, occupied by Auxerre, is only three points away. In his view it is too early for hasty judgments, and collecting points should calm nerves and help free the players.
Kantari believes the squad have more to offer and is convinced their qualities will reappear. He suggested that victory against Le Havre could get Nantes moving again.
