Memphis Depay wasted no time in getting the Netherlands off the mark in their World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.
The Oranje forward broke the deadlock after just 12 minutes with a well-taken close-range finish.

In the process, Depay set himself apart as the Netherlands all-time record goalscorer, nudging ahead of previous holder Robin van Persie.
In addition to the former Manchester United and Arsenal great, the Dutch have had countless world-class forwards, most famously Johan Cruyff and Marco van Basten, which only amplifies Memphis' achievement.
