Matheus Cunha quickly became a key figure for Wolverhampton Wanderers, showcasing his versatility in various attacking roles. Whether playing as an attacking midfielder, supporting striker, or center-forward, the Brazilian made a smooth transition across the frontline.
His impressive performances drew the attention of top clubs, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly keeping tabs on him, according to Fichajes. Despite his strong form at Wolves, there were rumors suggesting the club could consider selling him for over €70 million.
Arsenal appeared to be leading the chase, though Mirror Football reported that Wolves were determined to hold on to their star unless a significant offer came through.

Sky Sports News reports that Nottingham Forest are prepared to make a club-record bid for Cunha, with an offer of around £60 million potentially enough to persuade Wolves to sell.
In his latest newsletter for Give Me Sport, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the latest update on Cunha.
“Arsenal for sure, but I’m told there are more clubs calling,” Romano wrote. “I don’t want to mention four or five clubs now, but there will be movement for sure as Cunha is expected to be one of the big names in the final 10 days.”
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol recently reported that Arsenal are monitoring Cunha’s situation at Wolves as they consider a potential move during this transfer window.
