FFF – Fédération Française de football – has announced this Friday the signing of a 30-year agreement with GL Events, the events company in charge of Stade de France, which will see Les Bleus play their major home games in Saint-Denis’ 80.000-seater arena. The French national team hasn’t played at the Stade de France since the 2024-2025 Nations League quarter-finals second leg against Croatia.
FFF has announced that France – who will likely be led by Zinédine Zidane – will make their return to the Stade de France on Friday, October 2nd for a 2026-2027 Nations League home tie against Italy. GL Events and FFF have also added that the Stade de France will undertake renovation and modernization work until December 2030.
Once the works are completed, from January 2031 until 2055, FFF commits to organizing six France games per period of two sporting seasons at the Stade de France, as well as the final of the Coupe de France each year.
