Official: Simon Adingra joins Monaco

AS Monaco officially announced on Monday the arrival of Simon Adingra from Sunderland in the Premier League.

The Principality club wrapped up this impressive deal at the very end of the winter transfer window.As previously reported, it is a loan deal until the end of the 2025-2026 season. Monaco has paid 1 million euros to secure the services of the Ivorian international winger. The agreement includes a purchase option set at 17 million euros should the loan prove successful.

"AS Monaco is delighted to announce the arrival of Simon Adingra. The 24-year-old Ivorian international winger joins on loan from Sunderland until the end of the season, with an option to buy," reads the official statement from the Monegasque club.

Head coach Sébastien Pocognoli now has a young, 24-year-old, quick and dynamic player to inject fresh energy into his attack.
