OL Lyonnes have moved to sign Brazilian teenager Giovanna Waksman Costa, who will begin her spell with the club by undergoing rehabilitation in Lyon after a significant injury.
The club said in a statement on Monday that the 16-year-old from Rio de Janeiro has agreed a deal running to 2028 and will complete her recovery locally.

Regarded as one of the leading prospects in world football, she will not feature immediately for the Fenottes while she returns to fitness.
Lyon acted on the opportunity, encouraged by their coach who knows the player well, and plan to support her comeback from injury.
She has committed to a long-term deal, positioning Waksman Costa as a signing for the future in Lyon.
