Oliver Glasner has been confirmed as Nottingham Forest’s fifth head coach in the last year. He is believed to have agreed a three-year deal to succeed Vitor Pereira, months after departing Crystal Palace.

According to the Daily Mail, Michael Angerschmid, Ronald Brunmayr and Emanuel Pogatetz will join him at the City Ground. The report says he will bring his lieutenants.

Pereira was dismissed a couple of months after steering Forest to Premier League survival. His back-room team, Filipe Almeida, Luis Miguel, Bruno Moura, Marco Knoop and Pedro Lopes, also departed.

Angerschmid was a long-time team-mate of Glasner at SV Ried and later worked alongside him at LASK, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt, winning the Europa League with the latter.

Brunmayr, 51, served as Glasner’s assistant at Palace. A former SV Ried forward with eight caps for Austria, he also worked with Glasner at Eintracht.

Pogatetz, 43, is a Middlesbrough cult hero who played under Glasner at LASK, where he also began coaching. He spent a couple of years at St. Pölten, had a brief spell at Austria Wien, then linked up with Glasner at Palace in 2024.
