Palmeiras post R$ 30.046m May deficit as year-to-date shortfall reaches R$ 65.949m

Palmeiras posted a R$ 30.046 million deficit for May 2026, missing budget, and sit R$ 65.949 million in the red across the first five months.
According to Nosso Palestra, the May statement was released on Tuesday 14, with the club having forecast a R$ 26.421 million monthly deficit and a R$ 32.863 million surplus year to date.
The shortfall is concentrated in 'Rendas diversas', which covers Arena income and player trading, a line that directly influences results. The club budgeted R$ 235.750 million for the first five months and recorded R$ 78.028 million across the first four months.
For May, revenue came in at R$ 81.381 million against a budget of R$ 84.787 million, while expenses were R$ 104.234 million versus R$ 108.331 million.
Across 2026 to date, revenue totals R$ 395.268 million against a R$ 577.066 million budget, with expenses at R$ 516.882 million compared with R$ 515.691 million.
In December 2025, the club’s COF approved the 2026 budget, projecting R$ 1,200 million in income and a R$ 11.2 million surplus. Expected revenue split is player sales R$ 399.6 million, sponsorship and licensing R$ 296.5 million, TV rights R$ 185.6 million, Avanti membership R$ 84.3 million, social income R$ 76.6 million, other R$ 84.4 million, sporting prizes R$ 62 million, ticketing R$ 61.9 million.
