Palmeiras returned to work on Sunday morning at the Academia de Futebol after their 1-0 win over Mirassol, with Andreas advancing in his recovery from a left shoulder trauma.
According to Nosso Palestra, the starters completed regenerative work in the recovery and neuroscience centre, while the rest of the squad trained on the pitch with build-up and movement drills. The session also featured a five-a-side technical exercise on a reduced field.
On Saturday, Flaco López scored the decisive goal in the Campeonato Paulista victory at the Arena Crefisa Barueri. The result followed 1-0 wins over Portuguesa and Santos in the opening two rounds.
Andreas Pereira followed an on-field programme with the Núcleo de Saúde e Performance. Felipe Anderson, Figueiredo and Lucas Evangelista continued their physical transition work.
Palmeiras train on Monday 19, then travel to the interior of São Paulo to face Novorizontino on Tuesday 20 at 20:00. The match will be played at Estádio Jorge Ismael de Biasi in Novo Horizonte, São Paulo.
