Palmeiras said in financial statements released on Thursday that cumulative revenue reached R$ 330,7 milhões by March 2026, but the year-to-date result was a deficit of R$ 14,6 milhões.
The figures are well short of the budgeted surplus of R$ 93,5 milhões. The main shortfall is in "rendas diversas", which now includes player sales and the stadium revenue share under a Federal Accounting Council rule.
The club had planned to receive R$ 222,3 milhões in "rendas diversas" by March, but booked R$ 59,8 milhões, split as R$ 17,7 milhões from the Arena and R$ 41,6 milhões from professional football.
In February, net operating revenue was R$ 83,4 milhões against R$ 172 milhões budget, and financial income R$ 19,9 milhões versus R$ 882 mil, helped by currency movements and financial investments.
February’s "rendas diversas" totalled R$ 26,1 milhões, with R$ 6,1 milhões from the Arena and R$ 19,7 milhões from professional football. With lower costs, February was the only month to post a surplus so far in 2026, at R$ 20 milhões.
In March, net operating revenue reached R$ 78,5 milhões, a little over R$ 1 milhão above budget, with R$ 10,5 milhões in financial income. The month ended with a deficit of R$ 26,8 milhões, as advertising and sponsorship, matchday income, sócio torcedor Avanti and broadcast rights came in slightly below plan, partly offset by higher prize money.
