A new week brings the Premier League closer, with Leeds United’s likely rivals strengthening their back lines. Here is the latest summer transfer round-up.

Arsenal sign Illan Meslier on a free after his Leeds exit and make Piero Hincapie’s £25m switch permanent. Leandro Trossard joins Besiktas for £15.3m.

Aston Villa buy Johan Manzambi from Freiburg for £50m. Youri Tielemans leaves for Manchester United for £35m, and a £117m deal with Chelsea is agreed for Morgan Rogers.
