Sheffield United and QPR go head-to-head at Bramall Lane this Saturday in the EFL Championship. EFL Championship.
The Blades sit 23rd in the table with nine points so far, following a 3–1 defeat to Coventry City in their last outing under Chris Wilder.
QPR, meanwhile, are 16th with 18 points but also suffered defeat last time out, losing 2–1 to Southampton under Julien Stéphan.
Both sides head into the weekend looking to end three-game losing streaks. Sheffield United have slipped four points adrift of safety, while QPR remain just a point outside the top half despite their recent dip in form.
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Sheffield United winning 2-1.
theo (allthingsblades): Sheffield United are now guaranteed to be in the bottom three heading into the international break but three points would do them the world of good before the Steel City derby.
The Blades host QPR who are also currently struggling with one win in their last five, losing three in a row as well as Sheffield United. I can’t see anything other than a draw in this game as no side currently looks like they want to win or have the quality to do so. A boring 1-1 is my prediction and definitely a game to forget.
