PSG and AS Monaco are close to reaching an agreement over the transfer of France international attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche (24), according to Fabrizio Romano. Both Ligue 1 sides reached a breakthrough with only details set to be ironed out. AS Monaco reportedly turned down a €45m bid from PSG recently, but it appears that Akliouche will now bolster Luis Enrique’s ranks.
PSG and Monaco were locked in talks for weeks regarding Akliouche, whose performances with the Principality side earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ 2026 World Cup squad. The France international was identified by the back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners as the ideal replacement for Lee Kang-in, who joined Atlético de Madrid in a €40m deal.
