Paris Saint-Germain, back-to-back Champions League winners after their 30 May triumph, will report for pre-season on 25 July. World Cup players will join later, aligned with their international commitments.

According to L'Équipe, some squad members can return to the Campus from 20 July, though the official restart remains 25 July.

Sixteen PSG players are involved at the World Cup across nine national teams. The club has set holidays at four weeks from the date their country is eliminated, and three weeks for those who reach the final on 19 July.

The staff will tailor programmes and workloads to individual situations, as they do each summer.

Luis Enrique’s side face Manchester United in a friendly on 8 August at Ullevi Stadium in Göteborg, Sweden. Four days later they meet Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday 12 August in Salzburg, Austria.
