All-Stars team finalized ahead of Pirates clash

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the Carling All-Stars team set to face Orlando Pirates in the exhibition match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

The Soweto giants clinched the Carling Knockout Cup at the expense of Marumo Gallants, with Relebohile Mofokeng scoring the solitary goal in extra-time last Saturday.

Now, they are set to face the team voted for by the fans, and will be looking to become the first League Cup champions to defeat the All-Stars team.

Previous champions in Stellenbosch FC and Magesi FC, respectively, lost to the All-Stars team, which was led by former Pirates coach Jose Riveiro on both occasions.

Now, Golden Arrows mentor Manqoba Mngqithi, who has been linked to the vacant Black Lions post in Botswana, is set to coach the All-Stars ahead of Miguel Cardoso and Steve Barker.
