Rafa Silva ‘to earn’ two point two million euros on Benfica return | OneFootball

Rafa Silva is in Portugal awaiting a Benfica return, with salary terms for a second spell set at two point two million euros a year, according to A Bola. This is far below the nine million euros in his Besiktas contract, and his willingness to accept less in Türkiye is viewed as a sign of his desire to come back.

He landed at Humberto Delgado Airport on the morning of 21 January. He was not seen by media at the terminal, leaving via an alternative exit.

Final details are being settled before he signs. He is expected to rejoin once terms are finalised.

He is valued at five million euros. This season with Besiktas he has played 16 competitive matches, 10 in the league in Türkiye, four in the Europa Conference League and two in Europa League qualifying, for 1,360 minutes. He has scored five goals and supplied three assists.

A return now would come about a year and a half after he left.
