Newcastle United will welcome West Ham United at St. James’ Park on Sunday as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Nottingham Forest recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways in the league.
Eddie Howe will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Jacob Ramsey and Harvey Barnes could both get the nod to play from the start of this game.
Nick Pope will operate in between the sticks for the Magpies after shipping in one goal in his last outing. Sven Botman will resume his partnership with Malick Thiaw at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.
Lewis Hall will try to impress as the right-back, while Dan Burn looks to put in a solid performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Kieran Trippier and Alex Murphy will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes will anchor the midfield for the Magpies as they look to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Jacob Ramsey, Nick Woltemade and Harvey Barnes will play just ahead of them as part of the Newcastle attack. All three of them need to combine well in and around the West Ham penalty area if the Magpies are to secure a good result this weekend.
Anthony Gordon and Anthony Elanga will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
William Osula will lead the charge for the Tyneside club up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat on the offensive third of the pitch.
Yoane Wissa will have to settle for a place on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to shine in the latter stages if needed.
