Despite his hat-trick and assist against Fraserburgh, Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers has admitted that he is effectively up for sale despite the fact that he says he wants to stay.

Speaking over the weekend the Nigerian International explained that he knows the club needs money and that he is aware that he may be used to generate revenue.

He says he is also requiring minutes and is aware that he has lost his first team place lately.

Ideally, he preferably would stay but he admit he cannot sit on the bench.

He also knows that Hamza is in great form and it will be hard to supplant him.

The 5-0 thrashing of the lowly minnows gave the Belgian-born striker three goals to his credit but it’s likely his early opening miss will be more vividly remembered.

That miss in front of an open goal sums up why he’s been displaced by the Moroccan. Despite his goals, he misses ridiculous chances.

The Moroccan is more clinical.

In the Belgian’s favour though is the fact that Danilo is injured again and Rangers only currently have two fit strikers so Rangers might wish to hang fire on selling Dessers.

The match against the tiny side, summarised the good the bad and the ugly with the Belgian.

It epitomised him to a tee and would be a very accurate parting gift if he was to be sold this window.
