RB Leipzig reach an advanced stage in negotiations with Celtic’s Nicolas Kühn and Göztepe striker Romulo | OneFootball

kicker reports that RB Leipzig have reached an ‘advanced stage’ when it comes to talks with Celtic’s Nicolas Kühn and Romulo of Göztepe.

Despite their search for a new head coach dragging on, Leipzig are still working away in the transfer market. They are close to agreeing on a move for Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera; they just need to agree on a fee with Valencia for the defender.

Next, they will look to boost their attacking options.

Kühn is one of the players that Leipzig are interested in. The Celtic winger was previously in the academy of Leipzig before an early journeyman career through German academies and Ajax, saw him end up at Celtic Park.

The other player is Götzepe striker Romulo. The 22-year-old scored 13 and assisted nine for the Izmir-based side in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

For both Kühn and Romulo, talks are said to have reached an advanced stage, and there is a chance that the pair, along with Mosquera, could be present when Leipzig begin pre-season.
