Real Madrid agree deal for 2nd summer signing | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have tied up a deal to bring in Denzel Dumfries from Italian champions Inter Milan this summer.

This comes amid confirmation that an agreement has been found with the Dutchman’s entourage over the terms of a contract in Spain’s capital.

Ongoings behind the scenes at Real Madrid have of course dominated the media headlines across Europe over the last 24 hours.

First, Los Blancos sprung into action to secure a commitment from Ibrahima Konaté, following the Frenchman’s failed contract talks with Liverpool.

This was then swiftly followed by confirmation that discussions had also been opened with the representatives of the aforementioned Denzel Dumfries, amid efforts to reinforce the defensive ranks of the incoming José Mourinho.

And as alluded to above, Florentino Pérez and co. now appear all set to land their chief right-back target, too.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid, HERE WE GO! Deal in place and all agreed with Dutch right back to join Real Madrid from Inter, Spanish club will trigger €20m release clause.’
