Real Madrid have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Yan Diomandé, a deal that could rise to €140m with add-ons.
According to The Athletic, Madrid will pay €125m up front with a further €15m in bonuses.
The 19-year-old Ivorian could become the most expensive signing in the club’s history, overtaking Jude Bellingham’s €127m move from Dortmund in 2023.
Diomandé joined Leipzig’s pre-season camp in Austria on Monday and is awaiting the German club’s final approval. He would then be allowed to travel to Madrid for a medical.
Long linked with PSG, he prioritised Real in recent weeks after the Paris club withdrew from negotiations. He produced 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 matches in his debut season in Germany and is under contract until 2030.
