Etta Eyong’s strong start to La Liga with Levante caught the attention of several top-flight clubs in Europe including Real Madrid. He was seen to be the season’s big revelation from La Liga.
The Cameroonian international, however, has seen his form nosedive, but continues to remain in demand. So far in 2025/26, the 22-year-old has six goals and three assists from 22 La Liga matches.
Over the months, Levante received several offers for Eyong and even rejected a €30 million bid for him from CSKA Moscow in Russia. They deemed that valuation to be too low at the time and pushed to keep the player.
Now, as confirmed by Ben Jacobs, Levante themselves are pushing to sell Eyong to CSKA Moscow, albeit on a price tag slightly above the previous €30 million mark which the Russians are willing to put up.
However, the young striker is reluctant to move to the Russian outfit and has refused to do make the switch, leading to him getting benched in Levante’s recent game against Villarreal.
Amidst all this, the journalist states that there remains significant interest in the player from Real Madrid for the summer.

Several other top clubs such as Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United and Arsenal are all in the mix too.
So, it remains to be seen if Eyong can be convinced to move to CSKA Moscow, especially given that there is still some time in the day before the winter transfer window in Russia closes.
He does, however, appear to be leaning towards waiting for the summer when more lucrative offers may come his way.
While Eyong started off on fire scoring six goals and providing an assist in his team’s first ten league games of the season, he soon fell off and has begun to struggle in front of the goal.
He is goalless in his last ten games for club and country and must do far better if he is to impress Real Madrid, who will have Endrick back from his loan spell at Lyon at the end of the season.
