Real Madrid have beaten out competition from a host of leading clubs across Spain and Europe, to secure a deal for a highly-regarded young talent.
That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who highlights Victory Okorie as the player in question.
Okorie, for his part, is a 16-year-old defender, who is currently plying his trade in the youth system of Deportivo Alavés.
The Spaniard, who has been capped by his country at several age categories, chiefly lines out at left-back.
Okorie, according to Marca, ‘stands out for his physical ability and maturity despite his young age’.
Such traits had seen the likes of Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund make known their interest in his signature.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then Okorie appears to be headed elsewhere.
As per journalist Matteo Moretto, writing for Marca:
‘Real Madrid have secured the signing of Alavés’ promising young player Victory Okorie.’
The talented young full-back is primed to link up with Los Blancos this coming summer.
